What is the Ryan ’s Black Label gifting process?
When selecting a Ryan’s Black Label gift for your loved one, friend, or client a sleek black envelope containing an elegant note will be rushed to them announcing that they have been specially chosen to receive a Ryan’s Black Label gift. This note will build a curious anticipation and also prepare them to watch for a delivery. Very soon after they will receive their well packaged and nicely presented gift with a stylish note personalized with your message. This service is free and is automatically initialized by you keying a greeting into the greeting box on the checkout page. Please note when sending items Next Day Air or 2 Day Air this service does not apply.

How do I place an order?
Ordering from Ryan’s Black Label is easy. To order from this website simply click on any of the product categories listed in the left hand vertical column and then follow the links to the specific products you wish to purchase. To order by mail or fax please download and print our Mail Order and Fax Form and then send it to the address or fax number listed on the form.

How do I change or cancel an order I have already placed?
After successfully completing an online order you will receive an order confirmation email. Generally within 24 hour of this email you will receive a second “shipping confirmation” email. If you have received your order confirmation email but not yet received your shipping confirmation email you may be able to modify or cancel your order by contacting our concierge at concierge@ryansblacklabel.com. Please note once your order has shipped we are unable to cancel or modify it.

How do I check the status of my order?
After successfully completing an online order you will receive an order confirmation email which provides you with an “order status” link. After clicking this link you will be able to see whether your order is still pending or whether it has shipped. Please note once your order has shipped you will receive a second email with a link for “order tracking”. If your order was sent via UPS this link will take you to the UPS website whereby you can track its shipping status.

My order was lost - how can you assist me?
Every effort is made at the time of shipping to ensure that packages are properly addressed and labeled (please note however that Ryan’s black Label cannot be held responsible for orders for which we are given incomplete or incorrect addresses). All UPS packages are assigned a tracking number and are guaranteed. Priority Mail orders will be sent with delivery confirmation in most cases but are non-guaranteed - Ryan’s Black Label is not responsible for packages lost, stolen or otherwise missing when they are shipped by way of Priority Mail. Given our thorough shipping processes it should be very rare that a package becomes lost. If by chance this does occur please contact our concierge at concierge@ryansblacklabel.com for assistance.

How do I buy or redeem a gift certificate?
Gift Certificates are available for purchase by clicking on the “Gift Certificates” link on the left hand column of this page. Ryan’s Black Label gift certificates can be redeemed online or at any retail location. To redeem a gift certificate online, simply key in the certificate number in the “promotional code / gift certificate” box on the checkout page. Please note that gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash.

Do you charge me sales tax?
Ryan’s Black Label is based in Portland Oregon and Oregon is a sales tax free state so no sales tax will be assessed on online or retail orders.

I live outside the US – can I order from you?
The Ryan’s Black Label website is currently not set up to take international orders. International orders can in most cases be placed manually however. Should you wish to ship Ryan’s Black Label out of the U.S. please contact our concierge at concierge@ryansblacklabel.com.

How do you calculate shipping?
Shipping is calculated automatically based on the weight of your order, the zip code to which it is being shipped, and the shipping method selected. To see what your shipping costs will be please visit the checkout page once you have added an item to the shopping cart and then fill out the “Ship To” information. You can continue to shop after doing this by clicking on the “Continue Shopping” link. Each time you add subsequent items to the cart it will adjust your shipping amount accordingly on the shopping cart page. Please note you can select different shipping methods anytime while you are on the shopping cart page to see what the associated rates are. Ryan’s Black Label does not profit from shipping and handling charges. The shipping charges assessed cover the actual cost of shipping, packaging materials, and a portion of the shipping department’s overhead only.

What carriers do you use and what shipping methods do you offer?
Ryan’s Black Label provides you with a number of shipping options - UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air, UPS Next Day Air, and Priority Mail through the United States Post Office. Please note when shipping to a PO Box, APO or FPO Priority Mail must be used.

How quickly will you ship my order?
In most cases orders are shipped the same business day or the next business day from when they are received. On rare occasion a product may go to backorder in which case you will be contacted by email or by phone. Business days for UPS shipments are Mondays through Fridays (excluding holidays). Business days for Priority Mail shipments are Mondays through Saturdays (excluding holidays).

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
In most cases, unless shipped via express delivery, orders shipping to the west coast states will arrive within 4-6 business days from the date of purchase, orders shipping to the mid west states (as well as Alaska and Hawaii) 5-7 business days, and orders shipping to the east coast states 7-10 business days.

Can I ship to a PO Box, APO or FPO?
Ryan’s Black Label can ship to any PO Box, APO, or FPO via Priority Mail through the United States Post Office. Please note that UPS does not ship to these types of addresses.

Does choosing Next Day Air or 2 Day Air mean my order will arrive in 1 or 2 days?
Every attempt is made to send your order out the same business day or the next business day from when it is received. In cases where orders are shipped out one business day later than the date they were received it will effectively add one extra business day to delivery times. Please also note that Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays do not count as business days. If your order is sent out Next Day Air on a Friday it will not arrive until the following Monday (providing the Monday is not a holiday). In the rare instance that items go on backorder preventing shipment from occurring you will be contacted by email or by phone.

Is your packaging material environmentally friendly?
Ryan’s Black Label makes every effort to be as environmentally conscience as possible. Most boxes, papers, and stationeries are made with at least some post consumer products and all packaging peanuts used for cushioning are of the biodegradable type.

What is your return policy?
Ryan’s Black Label wants to ensure that you are pleased with your purchase. We will take back all non food items that are undamaged, unused, or otherwise non-altered within sixty days of receipt of purchase. Generally, our gourmet food items are non returnable barring obvious defect or the wrong item being shipped. We will happily replace any items damaged in shipping provided we are made aware of the damage within 48 hours of your package arrival. Return postage to us will be fully refunded, and exchange package shipping charges will be at no cost, in those cases that you receive the wrong items and or damaged items.

Ryan’s Black Label makes every effort to ensure merchandise is packaged with care. In the rare instance you receive damaged items please retain all packaging material and contact our concierge at concierge@ryansblacklabel.com within 48 hours of your package receipt for a free exchange.

What is your privacy policy?
Ryan’s Black Label respects your personal privacy. We collect only enough information to provide you with quality service. Any information we collect will remain confidential and under no circumstance (other than by court mandate) will your information ever be sold, rented, or given to other individuals or entities. On occasion we may contact you by email to inform you of our newest products or services. Should you wish to not receive these emails please reply with “please remove” in the subject line. Is ordering online secure?
Ordering online from www.ryansblacklabel.com is very safe. We use the latest industry-standard SSL encryption to transmit credit card and personal information securely. SSL allows us to automatically establish a secure connection with your web browser so when you enter your credit card number on our checkout page it is encrypted, transmitted, and then decoded when it reaches us.
